Yet, I should take readers back into my career history and speak a wee bit about where I come from [(away) a Maritime joke or not…] and how I got to this stage.

Hello, my name is John Gabriel Ötvös. I grew up in Oshawa, ON. I am largely a self-taught woodworker, having dabbled in the various fields of home and workshop construction; kitchen cabinets were a mainstay, millwork and furniture. Lastly, I entered the hallowed halls of audio, building a brand of high-performance loudspeakers known as Waveform, employed by US classical music recording studios, but mainly by music aficionados, with all genre types of recorded music.
We are told that humans are essentially story recounters with some actin’ as storey tellers. I have developed a desire to tell mine. Not that they are important or special in the scheme of things, but writing, journaling is a valid form of expression that allows authors, journalists and scribblers like me to tell our tales as we remember them. Perhaps when I have reached near the end, I shall peruse some of these and smile, cheek to cheek.
