Coloured ribbons have become internationally recognized symbols of awareness. The wood ribbon here, [NS yellow birch] has been re-purposed from a failed attempt at another sculpture.

As the pandemic works through populations; as self-isolation continues with no real end in sight as of this writing, I coincidentally [the mystery(?) of existence] completed the Tao of our human-centred E-air-th on life support, just as a loose-knit group of us were discussing the ancient Chinese Tao symbolically.

Also, by coincidence, 😏 the maker inadvertently knocked the completed sculpture off the bench, where the final tung oil coat was drying, thereby cracking it irreversibly. A mere brushstroke of genius, also from the consciousness of Cosmic Mind or The Field. hahaha

I have given more substantive consideration to the spiritual significance of the two “cracks”. They represent an open wound, at least to this scribbler’s understanding, of a human-centred loss of connection to ourselves, with each other and most importantly, to the natural world.  This then is my personal interpretation, i.e.,  a breakage of our worldview, as represented by old archaeology, especially since the stone record at the Giza plateau, Cusco and at Machu Picchu, Peru, easily tell us, that there was intelligent human[-oid] life on this planet probably tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of years before the Sumerian delta group, which, traditional archeology claims was the initial or first human example of civilization. The first evidence of this is Turkey’s Gobekli Tepe, which has been carbon-dated to 10,000 BCE! Trace also the enormous water erosion of the surrounding cut bedrock, of the Egyptian Sphinx. Hardly made by the dynastic Egyptians with copper chisels and stone pounders. Yet another, is 2018’s ground-penetrating radar images, known as LIDAR [Light Detecting and Radar] of the Guatemalan jungle, where building foundations were found large enough to support tens of millions of inhabitants.

The COVID-19 RNA molecule about 0.125 microns across. Invisible to the naked eye, not really alive, but apparently very conscious [go figure, eh?] until it embeds itself into an organism’s flesh.

The other breakage and so extraordinarily long overdue, is the unquestioning cultural habit of eating animal flesh; i.e., meat and other animal products.

Far too many people believe in a Universe that is essentially a machine, one with predictable responses. This is a highly unlikely aspect of existence, given what Stephen Hawking says about how it all plays in terms of Hubble’s famous Red Shift declaration, that left arguably, unarguably the greatest scientific mind of the 20th C, that of Albert Einstein, wobbling! –Even the Pope is on the same page about the pandemic of COVID-19, as his opinion is that this could be the response to the climate crisis. We live in a conscious Universe, a Quantum Field of energy, with alternating manifestations of waves of energy *and* as particles of matter. Once again, the mystery of existence?/!  How is it possible to have a ‘machine’, with such a plethora of these miraculous mysteries? With apologies to others who’ve adopted this particular urban myth. No blame; no shame.

Our worldview is coming apart at the seams. We are being forcibly re-envisioned, not due to nuclear war or rising sea levels [yet], but, by something invisible to our naked eyes. A mere coincidence? Hmmmm! This has enormous and crucial spiritual significance. The main takeaway for me, is the proverbial ole cosmic 2 X 4 to Stop Eating Meat of any kind, wild or domestic. If we take a hard look at this respiratory diseaase, whether lab-leak or species jump, it’s still zoonotic in origin. These chronic lifestyle diseases, [heart & stroke, cancers, diabetes, IBS,  Alzheimer’s, leukemias, COPD,etc.] which, now plague the human worldwide, are not caused by eating too many apples, berries, spinach, kale nor broccoli. On the Mystics of India YT channel last night, even Sadhguru has a new offering and says the same thing; Stop Eating Meat!
